Drone Data Processing Intern - Photogrammetry & Geospatial Output

About the Role:

Edall Systems is seeking a technically adept intern to manage and process large datasets generated by our fleet of UAVs. You will be the critical link between raw aerial imagery and geospatial products, focusing specifically on photogrammetry software workflows and quality assurance of final deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

Processing: Execute the full photogrammetry workflow, including alignment, gcp, mesh generation, texturing, and dense cloud filtering, using industry-standard software (e.g., Agisoft Metashape, Pix4D, Cloud Compare).

Output Generation: Generate and refine high-quality geospatial outputs such as Orthomosaic Maps, Digital Surface Models (DSM), Digital Terrain Models (DTM), and 3D point clouds.

Quality Control: Perform rigorous quality checks on processed data (e.g., verifying Ground Control Points (GCPs) accuracy and assessing projection errors).Reporting: Prepare technical reports summarizing processing parameters, data accuracy, and final deliverable specifications for clients.

Requirements:

Educational Background: Student or graduate in Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related technical field.

Geospatial Fundamentals: Basic understanding of surveying principles, coordinate reference systems, and geospatial data types.

Technical Aptitude: Experience or understanding of computer hardware requirements for heavy data processing and error corrections.

Mindset: Acute attention to detail and a problem-solving approach to tackle complex data gaps or processing errors.
