Job Description

Operate

conventional milling machine with DRO (Digital Readout System)

. Set up jobs, adjust machine settings, and ensure accurate machining as per drawings. Read and interpret

engineering drawings, tolerances, and measurements

. Perform

tool selection

, setting of cutting speeds and feeds. Carry out

precision machining

of metal components. Inspect finished parts using

calipers, micrometers, vernier

and other gauges. Maintain machine cleanliness and perform basic machine maintenance. Ensure production targets and quality standards are met. Follow

safety procedures

and maintain proper documentation.

Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of

DRO system

and mechanical measurements. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Understanding of

material removal processes

and tooling. Basic troubleshooting of operational issues. Good discipline, teamwork, and time management.
