Job Description

DRO Machine Operator

is responsible for operating Digital Read-Out (DRO) machines to produce precision parts as per technical drawings and specifications. The role includes understanding materials, tools, and fixtures, and following the entire process from raw material purchase to final grinding.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Drawing Reading

Read and understand engineering and mechanical drawings. Identify dimensions, tolerances, and machining requirements.

Material Knowledge

Know about different materials such as Sheetmetal , Fabrication Things Select the right material as per the job requirement.

Tools, Jigs, and Fixtures

Have basic knowledge of tools, jigs, and fixtures used in machining. Set up and align workpieces properly for accurate machining.

Machine Operation

Operate DRO milling, turning, or grinding machines safely and efficiently. Adjust settings and monitor operations to maintain accuracy. Perform rough and finish machining as per drawing.

Process Handling

Follow up on the process from raw material purchase to grinding and finishing. Ensure each step meets quality standards and specifications.

Inspection and Quality Control

Measure finished parts using vernier, micrometer, and other instruments. Check dimensions and surface finish before final approval.

Maintenance and Safety

Keep machines, tools, and work areas clean and well-maintained. Follow all safety procedures during machine operation.

Qualifications and Skills:

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or relevant field. Basic understanding of machining operations and measuring instruments. Knowledge of DRO machine operation preferred. Good attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
