Position Overview

We are seeking experienced and dedicated Drivers-cum-Labours for both Light Motor Vehicles (LMV) and Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGV). The selected candidates will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of mobile towers and related equipment to various sites across Kerala, as well as manual handling of materials at delivery locations. The role requires a strong work ethic, physical fitness, and strict adherence to company and traffic regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Driving Duties:

Safely operate LMV/HGV vehicles for the transportation of mobile towers and related materials throughout Kerala.

Strictly follow all traffic rules and company safety protocols while driving

Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time logs and mileage reports

Manual Handling:

Assist in loading and unloading materials at mobile tower sites.

Ensure proper handling and safety of consignments during transit and at sites.

Physically handle heavy consignments as required.

Documentation and Communication:

Obtain and submit delivery acknowledgements from clients upon completion of shipments.

Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues.

Capture photos and videos of delivered products and any additional work done at sites using a mobile phone.

Vehicle Maintenance:

Have a better understanding of vehicle parts and perform basic maintenance as needed.

Report any technical issues to the concerned department promptly.

Compliance:

Strictly adhere to company rules and regulations.

Ensure the safety of the vehicle and materials at all times.

Stay at company-provided accommodation in South Vazhakulam, Ernakulam.

Eligibility Criteria

Driving License:

Valid and original LMV/HGV driving license (as applicable).

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of driving experience within Kerala (experience in LMV/HGV vehicles required).

Age:

30 to 50 years.

Physical Fitness:

Must be physically fit to handle heavy consignments.

Attitude:

Passionate, sincere, honest, and willing to work hard.

Other Requirements:

Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance.

Ability to follow instructions and company protocols strictly.

Willingness to stay at company-provided accommodation in South Vazhakulam, Ernakulam (50% rent will be borne by the company, and the rest 50% will be equally deducted from all the drivers).

Ability to use a mobile phone for capturing photos and videos of delivered products and site work.

Compensation and Benefits

Payment:

Weekly payments based on kilometers run and labour charges for manual handling.

Food Allowance:

One food allowance per round-trip is provided by the company.

Accommodation:

Company-provided accommodation (50% rent equally deducted from all drivers' payments).

Payment Mode:

Weekly trip-based payments are credited directly to the driver's bank account.
