Job Description

Transporting passengers and goods:

Safely and efficiently move people, products, or materials from one location to another.

Vehicle operation:

Operate company vehicles in a safe and legal manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.

Route planning and navigation:

Plan the most efficient routes using maps, GPS, and knowledge of the area, while adapting to changes or unexpected issues like traffic or road closures.

Vehicle maintenance:

Conduct daily inspections, ensure the vehicle is clean, and report any issues to management. Perform or arrange for regular maintenance and refueling.
Supporting duties

Loading and unloading:

Assist with loading and unloading cargo, packages, or luggage, ensuring items are handled properly and secured for transport.

Record keeping:

Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, deliveries, and any incidents or maintenance performed.

Communication:

Communicate with dispatchers, clients, or passengers to provide updates, report delays, or address issues.

Customer service:

Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.

Paperwork:

Ensure all necessary documentation is complete before and after transport.
