Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced

Driver Trainer

to work at our bus depot. The role involves

training, counselling, and guiding drivers

to ensure safe driving practices, compliance with traffic rules, and reduction of accidents.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct

regular training sessions

for bus drivers on: Road safety & traffic rules Defensive driving techniques Passenger safety and emergency handling Provide

one-to-one counselling

to drivers on performance, discipline, and behavior. Conduct

post-accident counselling

and corrective training. Monitor driver driving behavior and suggest improvements. Assist depot management in

accident analysis and prevention

. Maintain records of driver training, counselling, and attendance. Support implementation of

safety SOPs and depot safety standards

. Conduct refresher training and safety briefings as required. Coordinate with Depot Manager / HR for safety and disciplinary matters. Promote

safe, fuel-efficient, and disciplined driving practices

Desired Skills & Competencies

Good knowledge of

traffic rules and road safety norms

Strong

communication and counselling skills

Ability to handle drivers patiently and professionally Basic documentation and reporting skills

Qualification & Experience

Valid

HMV Driving License

(mandatory/preferred) Minimum

5 years' experience

as a driver or driver trainer in buses or commercial vehicles Prior experience in a

bus depot or transport organization

preferred
