The Driver is responsible for transporting people, goods, or materials safely and efficiently while following traffic laws, company policies, and assigned schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive vehicles safely to assigned destinations
Follow traffic rules and safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and basic condition of the vehicle
Conduct routine vehicle checks (fuel, oil, tires, brakes)
Ensure timely pickup and delivery
Assist passengers or handle goods carefully, if required
Report accidents, breakdowns, or delays immediately
Requirements & Qualifications:
Valid driving license (appropriate category)
Proven driving experience preferred
Good knowledge of local routes and traffic laws
Physically fit and alert while driving
Responsible, punctual, and disciplined
Skills:
Safe and defensive driving
Time management
Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
Communication skills
