Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Operation: Safely operate a vehicle to transport people, goods, or materials to their specified destinations. Route Planning: Plan and follow the most efficient routes using GPS, maps, or other navigation tools to ensure timely arrival. Safety and Regulations: Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies. This includes performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. Vehicle Maintenance: Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained, performing basic checks on things like oil, tires, and fluid levels, and reporting any mechanical issues. Communication: Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, or supervisors regarding delivery status, delays, or any incidents. Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and any expenses. Customer Service: Provide a high level of professionalism and customer service, assisting with loading/unloading goods or helping passengers as needed.
