Job Description

A hotel driver's job description involves safely transporting guests and staff, which includes assisting with luggage, performing vehicle maintenance checks, and ensuring the vehicle is clean. Transportation:

Safely and efficiently drive guests to and from the hotel, airport, and other locations.

Customer service:

Assist guests with their luggage, ensure their comfort, and answer any questions they may have.

Vehicle maintenance:

Conduct regular checks to ensure the vehicle is clean, safe, and well-maintained. This may also include scheduling services and wash appointments.

Coordination:

Work with other hotel staff, such as the front desk and concierge, to arrange timely pickups and drop-offs.

Navigation and routing:

Use GPS and knowledge of local routes to find the most efficient paths and ensure timely arrivals.

Administrative tasks:

Maintain accurate logs of trips, including passenger counts and any incidents. Sometimes this includes picking up and delivering packages.

Compliance:

Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations.
Required skills and qualifications

Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Knowledge of local routes and road rules. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests professionally. Physical stamina and ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Familiarity with navigation tools. A pleasing personality and the ability to maintain a calm and polite demeanor.
