Job Description

The Driver is responsible for safely operating company vehicles to transport goods, materials, or passengers to designated locations. The role involves ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and functionality, and adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.

Work Conditions

May require early mornings, evenings, weekends, or overtime. Work involves extended periods of driving and occasional manual handling. Exposure to various weather conditions depending on route and schedule.

Qualifications & Requirements

Valid driver's license (specify: e.g., Light Vehicle, Heavy Vehicle, CDL). Proven experience as a driver (commercial driving preferred). Good knowledge of local routes, roads, and traffic patterns. Ability to lift and move moderately heavy items when needed. Excellent driving record with no major traffic violations. Ability to read and follow maps, GPS, and delivery instructions. Strong time-management and communication skills.

Vehicle Maintenance

Conduct daily vehicle checks, including fuel, oil, tires, lights, and brakes. Report any mechanical issues or necessary repairs immediately. Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and in excellent working condition. Ensure compliance with all maintenance schedules.
