Key Responsibilities

:

Drive safely and responsibly

: Operate the vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to traffic laws, company policies, and safety standards.

Ensure timely deliveries/pick-ups

: Transport goods or passengers to various destinations within the given time frame.

Vehicle maintenance

: Perform regular checks on the vehicle, including oil levels, tire pressure, brakes, and cleanliness. Report any issues to management or mechanics for repair.

Load and unload goods (if applicable)

: Safely load and unload materials, products, or luggage, ensuring everything is properly secured.

Maintain accurate records

: Keep track of mileage, fuel consumption, delivery schedules, and any other relevant details. Ensure all paperwork is completed, including delivery receipts and logs.

Provide customer service

: Maintain a friendly and professional attitude when interacting with clients or passengers.

Adhere to company policies

: Follow all company rules, regulations, and health & safety protocols.

Emergency response

: In case of accidents or breakdowns, take appropriate action to ensure safety and report the situation to authorities or management.

Skills and Qualifications

:

Valid driver's license

: A current and clean driver's license for the appropriate type of vehicle.

Driving experience

: Previous experience as a driver is preferred, especially with the type of vehicle to be operated.

Knowledge of traffic laws

: Strong understanding of traffic regulations, road signs, and safety standards.

Physical fitness

: Ability to lift and move packages (for delivery drivers) or assist passengers with luggage.

Communication skills

: Clear and professional communication, especially in dealing with customers.

Time management

: Ability to manage time effectively and adhere to schedules.

Physical Requirements

:

Ability to sit for extended periods. Ability to lift up to [X] pounds (depending on the nature of the job). Good vision and hearing for safety purposes.

Preferred Qualifications
