Core responsibilities

Transportation:

Safely transport passengers or cargo to designated locations.

Navigation:

Plan and follow the most efficient routes using GPS or other navigation tools.

Safety and compliance:

Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and safety regulations.

Vehicle maintenance:

Perform daily inspections, refuel the vehicle, and arrange for regular maintenance and cleaning.

Loading/unloading:

Assist with loading and unloading goods or luggage when necessary.

Record keeping:

Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, deliveries, and any incidents.

Communication:

Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and passengers to provide updates and resolve issues.

Essential skills and qualifications

A valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Excellent driving skills and sound judgment. Knowledge of traffic rules and regulations. Good communication and customer service skills. Time management and organizational skills. Proficiency with navigational software and technology. Physical ability to perform tasks like lifting and working in various weather conditions
