About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled driver to join our team at COSMIC DEVELOPERS AND POWER SOLUTIONS and COSMIC ELECTRICALS AND SANITARIES. The driver will play a vital role in transporting construction materials, electrical items, and sanitary products to various project sites, client locations, and other destinations across Kerala.
Key Responsibilities:
Vehicle Operation and Maintenance
Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly, adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
Conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintenance checks (e.g., tire pressure, oil levels, brakes, lights).
Ensure vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and in optimal working condition.
Promptly report any mechanical issues or damages to the maintenance team or managers.
Material and Product Transportation
Safely load, secure, and transport materials and products to designated locations without damage.
Coordinate with the warehouse and site teams for accurate and timely delivery.
Route Planning and Execution
Plan and follow the most efficient routes, considering traffic and road conditions.
Use navigation tools (e.g., GPS, maps) to ensure timely deliveries.
Communicate delays, route changes, or unforeseen issues to the supervisor or clients promptly.
Record Keeping and Documentation
Maintain logs of trips, fuel consumption, mileage, and vehicle condition.
Complete delivery paperwork, such as receipts and inspection reports, accurately.
Safety and Compliance
Follow all safety protocols and company regulations while operating the vehicle.
Ensure the safety of materials, passengers (if any), and the vehicle during transit.
Comply with local, state, and federal driving laws and licensing requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
Valid driver's license .
Proven driving experience, preferably in material transportation.
Good knowledge of Kerala's road network and traffic regulations.
Ability to operate GPS and navigation systems.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Physical fitness for loading/unloading materials when required.
Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.
