Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced

Delivery Driver

to be a critical part of our logistics team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Delivery and Route Management:

Safely operate company vehicles along designated daily routes. Ensure all deliveries are completed on schedule to meet customer receiving times and product freshness standards. Load and unload dairy products carefully, often requiring handling of crates and boxes. Maintain contact with the Dispatch team to report any delays, route changes, or issues immediately.

2. Vehicle and Cold Chain Management:

Report any vehicle maintenance issues or refrigeration malfunctions promptly to the supervisor. Ensure the vehicle interior and cargo area are kept clean and hygienic in accordance with food safety standards.

3. Documentation and Inventory:

Verify that all goods loaded match the delivery notes, invoices, and manifest before leaving the plant. Secure necessary customer signatures on delivery documents and return signed copies to the Dispatch office daily. Collect and return empty crates Handle cash on delivery (COD) transactions accurately if required by the route.

Qualifications and Skills:

Licensing:

Must possess a valid Driving License

Knowledge:

Familiarity with the local city and regional routes, ensuring efficient navigation. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance is a plus.

Communication:

Good verbal communication skills and a courteous demeanor when interacting with customers.

Availability:

Must be punctual and willing to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by the dairy industry schedule.
