Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Drive company vehicles for official duties, staff transport, site visits, and client movements. Ensure safe, timely, and comfortable transportation. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness at all times. Conduct daily vehicle checks (fuel, oil, brakes, lights, tires). Report mechanical issues and coordinate timely servicing. Maintain logbooks for vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and travel records. Follow traffic rules, safety regulations, and company driving policies. Assist in loading and unloading materials/documents when required. Ensure vehicle documents (RC, Insurance, PUC, Permit) are valid and available. Maintain confidentiality of company information and passenger details. Support administrative tasks related to transport when assigned.

Excellent driving skills and road safety awareness. Knowledge of local routes, highways, and traffic conditions. Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge. Time management and punctuality. Professional behavior and communication skills. Ability to handle emergency situations calmly.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum qualification: 10th pass (preferred). Valid LMV/HMV driving license (as applicable). Minimum 2-5 years of professional driving experience. Experience driving company or commercial vehicles preferred. Automatic Cars drivers Experience

Working Conditions

May involve long hours, early mornings, late nights, or outstation travel. On-call availability as per business needs. Must be physically fit and medically cleared for driving duties.

Compliance & Discipline

Strict adherence to company policies and safety norms. No alcohol, drugs, or traffic violations during duty hours. Responsible for fines or penalties caused due to negligence.
