Job Description

The Retail Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of goods from the retail store or warehouse to customers, retail outlets, or other company locations. This role ensures that all deliveries are completed accurately while providing excellent customer service and representing the company professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

Load, transport, and deliver products to customers or retail locations according to assigned schedules. Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure safety and compliance with company policies. Verify delivery details such as addresses, product quantities, and conditions before departure. Handle goods carefully during loading/unloading to prevent damage. Collect payments, delivery confirmations, or customer signatures when required. Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and any required paperwork. Report any vehicle maintenance issues, delays, or delivery discrepancies to the supervisor. Comply with traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies. Provide friendly, professional customer service during each interaction. Assist in warehouse or store operations such as inventory movement, packing, or stock organization when not on delivery duty.
