We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to fill the role of Delivery cum Supervisor for our dairy industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery operations while ensuring the efficient distribution of dairy products to our customers. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily delivery schedules to ensure timely distribution of dairy products to customers.
- Supervise and assist delivery drivers in loading, unloading, and transporting dairy products safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, deliveries made, and customer orders.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and ensure that delivery vehicles are in proper working condition.
- Resolve any delivery-related issues or customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Train new delivery personnel on company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that dairy products are handled and delivered according to industry standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of delivery vehicles and equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide regular reports to management on delivery performance, inventory levels, and customer feedback.
- Proven experience in delivery operations, preferably in the dairy industry.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to transportation and delivery.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and basic computer skills.
- Valid driver\'s license and clean driving record.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
