Job Description

Job Purpose


To ensure smooth patient entry / exit process, Patient movement, outdoor assistance, office support, and timely handling of administrative tasks such as banking, purchases, courier collection, and patient reception.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Patient Assistance & Outdoor Support

Receive patients upon arrival and assist them from their vehicle Car / Auto /Others. Support patients safely while entering or exiting. Provide wheelchair support for elderly or physically challenged patients. Escort patients to reception, consultation rooms, lab, pharmacy, opticals, or other departments or handover to PRO Greet and wish every patient and attendant politely. Provide basic comfort support (water, seating, directions, etc.).

2. Vehicle & Parking Coordination

Guide the patients to the appropriate parking area. Manage the parking area in an orderly and safe manner.

3. Attender-Level Support

Carry patient files, reports, or documents when needed. Assist patients in filling basic forms. Provide clear directions and handle patient queries politely.

4. Office Assistant Responsibilities

Visit bank for depositing/withdrawing cash, submitting cheques, passbook updates, etc. Purchase office items, stationery, and small consumables as instructed. Support administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, sorting files, and delivering documents between departments. Maintain availability and proper arrangement of office supplies.

5. Courier & Delivery Handling

Collect couriers from courier offices, delivery counters, or reception. Deliver outgoing couriers or parcels to the courier service provider. Ensure proper documentation, signatures, and tracking for all incoming/outgoing parcels. Hand over received items to the concerned department promptly.

6. General Support & Coordination

Collect and deliver items such as reports, medicines, forms, and files within the hospital. Maintain cleanliness and organization in patient waiting areas and reception surroundings. Report any issues or discrepancies in the service area to the supervisor. Assist with patient flow management during busy hours.

7. Behaviour & Grooming Standards

Wear neat uniform and ID card always. Maintain polite communication, a warm smile, and positive body language. Exhibit honesty, discipline, and respectful behaviour.

Safe and timely transportation of passengers, staff, or goods while following traffic rules and company instructions.

9. Additional Duties

Assist in emergency situations under staff instruction. * Perform any other duties assigned by Admin, HR Manager, or Management.
