Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Drive company vehicles to transport staff, samples, and goods between mills, offices, and other locations. Ensure all materials (such as yarn samples, documents, and small consignments) are delivered on time and in good condition. Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicle on a daily basis. Conduct routine checks of the vehicle (fuel, oil, water, tires, brakes, etc.) to ensure safe operation. Record all trips, fuel usage, mileage, and maintenance activities in the logbook. Follow all traffic rules, safety regulations, and company policies. Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or delays to the Admin/Transport in-charge immediately. Assist in loading and unloading goods or materials as required. Ensure timely pick-up and drop of management personnel or visitors when assigned. Maintain confidentiality of company-related information.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum 10th standard or equivalent. Valid Light/Heavy Motor Vehicle driving license. Minimum 3-5 years of driving experience (preferably in a manufacturing or textile industry). Good knowledge of Coimbatore and nearby industrial areas. Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance. Punctual, disciplined, and safety-conscious attitude. Ability to communicate politely and follow instructions from management.
