Job Description

Position: Drilling & Fitter Operator

Location: Manpada, Near R-Mall, Thane

Gender Preference: Male

Qualification: ITI or Diploma (Mechanical or Fitter Trade preferred)

Experience: 3-4 Years

Job Responsibilities:

1. Set up and operate drilling machines as per production requirements.

2. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications accurately.

3. Select appropriate drill bits, materials, and cutting speeds for the job.

4. Perform drilling, reaming, and tapping operations on various components.

5. Handle pneumatic tapping machines efficiently for batch production.

6. Conduct in-process inspection using measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, gauges).

7. Carry out assembly and fitting work as per production needs.

8. Ensure quality, accuracy, and timely completion of production targets.

9. Maintain machine cleanliness and follow all safety protocols.

Skills & Competencies:

1. Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances.

2. Experience in batch production drilling and fitting operations.

3. Knowledge of drill selection for tapping and basic machine maintenance.

4. Ability to perform manual and pneumatic tapping operations.

5. Team player with attention to precision and efficiency.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?18,000.00 - ?22,000.00 per month
