Project Management & Planning
Lead and manage dredging projects from start to completion.
Plan daily dredging work schedule and allocate tasks to crew.
Monitor dredging progress, production targets, and daily output.
Ensure compliance with project timelines and client requirements.
Technical & Operational Duties
Oversee operation of cutter suction or mechanical dredgers.
Coordinate anchor shifting, pipeline laying, dredger movement, and booster setup.
Monitor dredger engine performance, pump efficiency, and maintenance needs.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to machinery, hydraulics, and engines.
Team & Safety Management
Supervise dredger crew, operators, helpers, and support teams.
Conduct safety briefings and ensure all operations follow marine safety rules.
Coordinate with survey team, site engineers, and client representatives.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain daily production reports, fuel logs, breakdown reports, and operator logs.
Handle project documentation, client communication, and approval of daily activities.
Ensure maintenance schedules and breakdown records are updated.
Required Qualifications
Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Marine, Civil, or related field.
Minimum 3-7 years of experience
in dredging operations (CSD preferred).
Strong knowledge of dredger machinery, pumps, hydraulics, and engines.
Experience managing dredging teams and coordinating project activities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
