Job Description

Drafting and Design:Create detailed technical drawings, layouts, and plans using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D). Prepare plans for structures and other civil engineering projects. Revise designs to meet project requirements or client feedback. Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with civil engineers, architects, and surveyors to develop and finalize project plans. Ensure designs adhere to local building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations. Coordinate with project teams to resolve design discrepancies or challenges. Technical Support: Assist in preparing material estimates and project timelines.Maintain and update project documentation and records.Provide technical assistance during project execution when needed. Quality Assurance: Ensure all drawings are accurate, complete, and in line with project specifications.Perform quality checks on designs to identify errors or omissions.

Education:

Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.

Experience:

Proven experience in civil drafting, preferably in infrastructure or construction projects.

Software Proficiency:

Expertise in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D).

Technical Knowledge:

Familiarity with civil engineering concepts, building codes, and construction techniques.

Attention to Detail:

Strong ability to create precise and detailed drawings.

Communication:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.

Problem-Solving:

Ability to identify and resolve design issues efficiently.
