Job Description

The Draughtsman is responsible for preparing accurate architectural and construction drawings as per design requirements, statutory norms, and project specifications. The role supports architects, engineers, and project teams in converting concepts into detailed technical drawings for execution.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed

architectural, structural, and working drawings

for residential and commercial projects Develop

2D drawings

, layouts, sections, elevations, and detailed plans as per design inputs Revise drawings based on feedback from architects, engineers, and project managers Ensure drawings comply with

local building codes, regulations, and standards

Maintain proper documentation and version control of drawings Coordinate with site engineers to clarify drawing-related queries Assist in preparing

as-built drawings

after project completion Ensure accuracy, clarity, and timely delivery of drawings

Required Skills & Competencies

Proficiency in

AutoCAD

(mandatory) Working knowledge of

Revit / SketchUp

(preferred) Good understanding of

construction methods and materials

Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings Strong attention to detail and accuracy Time management and ability to meet deadlines Good coordination and communication skills
