Education: Diploma or ITI in Draughtsmanship, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman to join our project team, with a primary focus on solar power and renewable energy projects. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical drafting skills, hands-on experience with AutoCAD, and the ability to convert conceptual designs into accurate and compliant technical drawings. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and project teams to support engineering and construction activities effectively.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare accurate and detailed 2D technical drawings using CAD software, primarily AutoCAD, for solar and associated infrastructure projects.
2. Develop layouts, plans, sections, elevations, and detailed drawings based on approved design inputs and project specifications.
3. Revise and update drawings based on feedback from engineers, architects, and project stakeholders.
4. Ensure all drawings comply with applicable industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements related to solar installations.
5. Maintain proper organization of drawing files, revision histories, and project documentation.
6. Coordinate with internal teams to clarify design requirements and technical details.
7. Prepare as-built drawings upon project completion to reflect actual site conditions accurately.
Qualifications
1. Diploma or ITI in Draughtsmanship, Civil Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
2. Mandatory proficiency in AutoCAD.
3. Strong understanding of engineering and construction drawings.
4. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation practices.
5. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines efficiently.
Good to Have
1. Experience in the solar or renewable energy sector.
2. Knowledge of 3D modeling software.
3. Basic understanding of site execution, measurements, and solar installation layouts.
4. Strong communication and coordination skills for working with multidisciplinary teams.
Work Environment
Primarily office-based role with occasional site visits for solar project execution, coordination, and verification.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
