We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans that are essential for construction and manufacturing projects. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles, as well as proficiency in various drafting software. The Drafter will collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure that designs are accurate and meet project specifications.
Duties
Develop detailed drawings and schematics using CAD software.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand design requirements.
Create 3D models and visualisations using tools such as SketchUp, Rhinoceros 3D, and SolidWorks.
Prepare construction documents, including plans, sections, and elevations.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Revise drawings based on feedback from team members or clients.
Maintain an organised library of drawings and project documentation.
Skills
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit, ArchiCAD, and Grasshopper 3D.
Strong understanding of construction principles and graphic design techniques.
Experience in creating system designs and schematics.
Ability to produce high-quality technical drawings with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
