Job Description

We are seeking a skilled

MEP/HVAC Draughtsman

with hands-on experience in preparing detailed engineering drawings for mechanical building services, including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and electrical layouts. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of MEP coordination, services routing, and proficiency in AutoCAD and related drafting software.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed

HVAC and MEP system drawings

including ducting, piping, equipment layouts, and coordination drawings. Develop

shop drawings, as-built drawings, and schematic diagrams

as per project and consultant requirements. Work closely with design, project, and site execution teams to ensure drawings reflect site conditions. Perform

clash detection and service coordination

between HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and civil structures. Ensure drawings comply with

industry standards, codes, and consultant specifications.

Update drawings based on site modifications or client/consultant comments. Maintain a well-organized

drawing database and document control

for easy reference. Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for incorporating equipment details and installation layouts.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma / ITI

in Mechanical Engineering or Drafting (or equivalent). Minimum

5 years of experience

as a Draughtsman in the

MEP/HVAC contracting industry.

Strong command of

AutoCAD (2D mandatory, 3D preferred).

Knowledge of

Revit MEP / Navisworks

will be an added advantage. Understanding of HVAC systems -- chilled water, VRF, ventilation, and ducting design principles. Familiarity with other MEP services for coordination purposes. Good attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
