Job Title: Draughtsman - MED-PIP/STA Qualifications:

  • ITI (Industrial Training Institute) in Draftsmanship or related field
Experience:
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a Draughtsman
Key Responsibilities: Technical Drafting: Create detailed and accurate technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics using computer-aided design (CAD) software. MED-PIP/STA Focus: Specialize in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MED) and Structural (STA) drafting, ensuring precision and compliance with project requirements. Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, architects, and other team members to understand project specifications and requirements. Revision Management: Keep drawings up-to-date with any changes or modifications, ensuring accuracy in documentation. Quality Control: Review drawings to ensure they meet industry standards, project specifications, and safety regulations. Communication: Communicate effectively with team members to gather information and clarify design details. Documentation: Maintain organized and comprehensive records of all drafts and design modifications. Software Proficiency: Stay up-to-date with the latest CAD software and technologies, ensuring proficiency in drafting tools. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues or discrepancies in drawings, collaborating with the project team to find solutions. Skills and Qualities:
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
  • Knowledge of MED-PIP/STA principles.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work within project timelines.
  • Understanding of industry standards and regulations.
Education:
  • ITI in Draftsmanship or a related field
Experience:
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a Draughtsman
