Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented

Draughtsman

with experience in

Creo

,

AutoCAD

, and

SolidWorks

to support our

New Product Development (NPD)

and

R&D

initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of

mechanical design

,

manufacturing processes

, and

machining techniques

, with proven expertise in creating precise

2D drawings

,

3D models

, and

3D PDF views

.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and revise

2D dimensional drawings

,

part drawings

,

main assembly drawings

, and

exploded views

using Creo, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks. Create and maintain complete and accurate

Bill of Materials (BOMs)

for all designs. Generate detailed

3D models

and

3D PDF views

to support design reviews, presentations, and manufacturing. Perform

basic design calculations

for various components and assemblies to ensure functionality and manufacturability. Collaborate closely with

NPD and R&D teams

to understand product specifications and translate concepts into manufacturing-ready drawings. Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, company guidelines, and

GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)

. Support prototype development and design iterations based on testing and feedback. Maintain drawing/document revision control and file management protocols.

Key Skills & Requirements:

Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. 2-5 years of hands-on experience in drafting/design using

Creo

,

AutoCAD

, and

SolidWorks

.

Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes

, including CNC

machining

,

sheet metal

and

fabrication

. Sound understanding of

general machining techniques

and component tolerances. Experience with

design calculations

for machine elements and part validation. Strong command of

mechanical drawing standards

,

dimensioning practices

, and

BOM preparation

. Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and creating assembly instructions.
