Draughtsman

who can handle both architectural and interior drawings.

Role Overview:

The candidate will be responsible for preparing

construction drawings

(civil/structural) as well as

interior execution drawings

(furniture layouts, ceiling, electrical, joinery). This is a hybrid role, ideal for someone who has worked in a design-build environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft

floor plans, elevations, and sections

for residential/commercial projects. Prepare

structural coordination drawings

(columns, beams, footing layouts). Work on

interior 2D drawings

- furniture layouts, false ceiling, electrical, tiling, joinery details. Support

municipal/approval drawings

as per Chennai/DTCP/CMDA standards. Incorporate design markups from architects/interior designers quickly and accurately. Coordinate with site engineers to provide updated drawings for execution.

Requirements:

Minimum

3 years' experience

as a Draughtsman. Proficiency in

AutoCAD

(mandatory). Exposure to

interior detailing

(wardrobes, kitchens, furniture layouts). Knowledge of approval drawings and construction drawings. Ability to take site measurements and prepare as-built drawings. Familiarity with SketchUp/Revit (added advantage). Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and timelines.
