Client assessment: Evaluate client needs through observation, interviews, and creative engagement to inform treatment plans. Session design and facilitation: Create and lead therapeutic drama interventions tailored to the individual or group, using methods such as role-playing, storytelling, movement, music, and puppet work. Emotional exploration: Guide clients in exploring and processing emotions, conflicts, and life challenges through dramatic expression and metaphor. Processing and reflection: Help clients reflect on their dramatic experiences to gain insight, develop coping strategies, and integrate new perspectives. Record keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including progress notes and treatment plans. Team collaboration: Work with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, social workers, and other therapists, to provide integrated client care. Aftercare planning: Develop and implement strategies for clients to use after therapy concludes.
