Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman with 2 to 3 years of professional experience to join our design/engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed blueprints and technical drawings using AutoCAD, ensuring that designs meet specifications, codes, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare clear, complete, and accurate working plans and detailed drawings using AutoCAD. Create blueprints and technical drawings for architecture, civil, mechanical, or electrical projects as required. Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to gather product and structural requirements and designs. Ensure compliance with industry standards, company guidelines, and local regulations. Maintain project documentation and drawing records. Assist in estimating materials, quantities, and project timelines based on drawings. Perform field/site visits when required for measurements and verification.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience as a Draftsman. Proficient in AutoCAD (2D and preferably 3D). Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation. Good understanding of design and construction processes. Attention to detail and ability to work under minimal supervision. Excellent time management and communication skills.
