Job Description

1. Preparing Technical Drawings

Produce detailed

shop drawings

,

joinery details

,

reflected ceiling plans (RCPs)

,

partition layouts

, and

furniture details

. Prepare

as-built drawings

after project completion. Convert

concept designs

or

sketches

into precise

AutoCAD or Revit drawings

.

2. Coordination with Project Team

Coordinate with

interior designers, engineers, and site supervisors

to ensure drawings match actual site conditions. Review and incorporate

MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing)

coordination drawings where applicable. Attend coordination meetings to understand project requirements and design intent.

3. Site Verification

Conduct

site measurements

and verify dimensions before preparing final drawings. Update drawings according to

site changes or client revisions

.

4. Material & Joinery Details

Prepare

detailed joinery drawings

for custom furniture, cabinets, doors, and fixtures. Ensure all materials and finishes are clearly indicated in the drawings. Work closely with the

workshop team

to ensure manufacturability and accuracy.

5. Compliance & Standards

Ensure drawings comply with

company standards

,

local codes

, and

client specifications

. Maintain

drawing documentation and version control

.

6. Support for Project Execution

Provide

technical support

during fabrication and installation stages. Modify or revise drawings based on

site feedback

or

client approvals

. Ensure timely submission of all drawings as per project schedule.

Skills & Tools Required

AutoCAD

(primary tool)

Revit / SketchUp / 3ds Max

(for 3D visualization, optional but preferred)

MS Office / PDF markups

Strong understanding of

construction details, joinery, and materials

Knowledge of

MEP coordination

in interior layouts Attention to detail and accuracy
