Draftsman - Joinery

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled

Joinery Draftsman

to prepare detailed

shop drawings, cutting lists, and 3D designs

for custom furniture and interior joinery projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in

interior fit-out or woodworking projects

and be able to translate design concepts into accurate production drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare

detailed joinery and furniture drawings

using AutoCAD (2D & 3D). Develop

cutting lists, material specifications, and assembly details.

Coordinate with

design, production, and site teams

to ensure accuracy and feasibility of drawings. Modify and update drawings as per

client or site requirements.

Ensure all drawings comply with

joinery standards, materials, and finishes.

Support the production team in resolving drawing-related queries during execution.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in

Civil / Mechanical / Interior Design / Architecture

or related field.

4-5 years of experience

as a Joinery Draftsman in an

interior fit-out or woodworking company.

Proficiency in

AutoCAD

(mandatory); knowledge of

SketchUp or 3ds Max

is an advantage. Strong understanding of

joinery details, materials, and fabrication methods.

Excellent attention to detail and time management skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
