Job Description

We are hiring a Draftsman with knowledge in water and wastewater treatment plant layouts. The role involves preparing technical drawings for civil, mechanical, and piping works related to STP, WTP, ETP, and DM Plants at our project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare layout, civil, and piping drawings for STP, WTP, ETP, and DM plant installations. Draft equipment foundations, RCC tank drawings, piping routes, cable trenches, and structural layouts. Assist project and design engineers in modifying drawings as per site conditions and project requirements. Prepare as-built drawings post-completion and maintain drawing documentation. Ensure accuracy, readability, and compliance with project specifications and codes. Coordinate with site engineers for field markups and dimension verification.

Requirements

:

ITI / Diploma in Civil / Mechanical Drafting or equivalent. 0 to 3 years of experience in preparing drawings for plants. Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) and ability to understand engineering drawings. Knowledge of basic process flow diagrams (PFD), general arrangements (GA), and civil layouts. Familiarity with STP, WTP, and ETP components like clarifiers, tanks, filters, pipelines, pumps, and valve arrangements.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in handling multiple plant layouts including STP/WTP/ETP/DM in contracting companies. Knowledge of construction sequencing and site-level drafting coordination. Understanding of IS codes and municipal/industrial water treatment standards.
