Job Description

ey Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and layouts based on sketches, specifications or engineering/architectural input. Use CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) to create 2D and 3D technical drawings. Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements. Ensure all drawings are compliant with industry standards and company procedures. Collaborate with engineers, architects and project managers to understand project requirements. Maintain organized project files and version-controlled drawing logs. Conduct field visits (if required) to gather site measurements or verify project details. Assist in preparing bills of quantities (BOQ) and material take-offs if needed.

Requirements:

Diploma or ITI in Drafting, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Architecture or a related field. Proven experience as a Draftsman in [civil / mechanical / architectural] field. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit or similar drafting software. Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints. Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks) is an advantage. Knowledge of local building codes and standards. Familiarity with project management tools or document control software.
