Prepare electrical shop drawings including lighting, power distribution, earthing, lightning protection, ELV systems (CCTV, access control, data, fire alarm), and equipment layouts.
Develop coordination drawings integrating architectural, structural, HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting drawings.
Prepare single-line diagrams (SLDs) and schematic diagrams as advised by engineers.
Update drawings based on engineer comments and consultant/supervisor feedback.
Develop accurate as-built drawings at project close-out.
Coordinate with electrical engineers and site teams to reflect actual site conditions in drawings.
Resolve clashes in coordination with other MEP services.
Ensure drawings follow project specifications, IS/IEC standards, NFPA standards, and local authority guidelines.
Verify dimensions, levels, and technical details before submission.
Ensure revisions are incorporated promptly and accurately.
Qualifications & Skills:
ITI/Diploma in Draftsmanship or Electrical Engineering.
2-4 years of experience as an Electrical Draftsman in MEP contracting.
Strong understanding of electrical systems: LV/MV power distribution, lighting, earthing, ELV, nurse call systems, UPS, panels, etc.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
