Job Description

The Draftsman is responsible for preparing accurate 2D drawings, plans, and layouts for civil construction projects. The role ensures that drawings comply with technical specifications, standards, and project requirements, supporting engineers, architects, and site teams in project execution.

Drafting & Drawing Preparation

Prepare plans, sections, elevations, and details. Convert engineers'/architects' sketches and site inputs into detailed working drawings. Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and presentation drawings as required.

Design Coordination

Coordinate with engineers, architects, and site teams for design clarifications. Update and revise drawings as per site conditions and consultant feedback. Ensure drawings align with project specifications, codes, and standards.

Documentation & Record Keeping

Maintain drawing registers, issue logs, and revision histories. Ensure timely submission of drawings to consultants, clients, and site teams. Archive and manage digital/physical drawing records.

Quality & Compliance

Ensure accuracy, neatness, and clarity in all drawings. Check drawings for technical correctness before issue. Adhere to company drafting standards and industry codes .

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma/ITI in Civil Engineering/Drafting or equivalent.

1-5 years of experience

in civil construction drafting. Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D), excel and other drafting software. Knowledge of civil construction drawings, detailing, and BOQ preparation. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under deadlines.
Good coordination and communication skills with engineers and site teams

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
