Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled

Draftsman

proficient in

AutoCAD and SolidWorks

to create accurate technical drawings and 3D models for our machinery, process equipment, and product designs. The candidate should have a keen eye for detail and the ability to translate concepts into precise engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks based on design specifications. Work closely with design and production teams to develop mechanical layouts, assemblies, and fabrication drawings. Modify and update existing drawings as required. Ensure dimensional accuracy and adherence to design standards. Maintain proper documentation and drawing revisions. Support engineers in design optimization and prototyping activities. Coordinate with vendors for manufacturing and fabrication detailing.

Technical Design Skills

Strong command of

AutoCAD (2D drafting)

for layout and fabrication drawings. Advanced proficiency in

SolidWorks (3D modeling, assembly, and rendering)

. Experience in creating

detailed part drawings

exploded views

, and

BOM (Bill of Materials)

. Knowledge of

GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)

and

ASME/ISO drawing standards

. Ability to design

sheet metal parts

welded structures

. Familiarity with

piping layout drawings

equipment GA (General Arrangement)

fabrication detailing

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 2-5 years of experience as a Draftsman in a manufacturing or machinery design environment. Proficiency in

AutoCAD

and

SolidWorks

is mandatory. Strong understanding of GD&T, mechanical components, and fabrication processes. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Detail-oriented, with good communication and teamwork skills.
