Key Responsibilities

Produce accurate PEB structural drawings, including steel members, connections, roof systems, and wall cladding layouts. Develop shop drawings, erection drawings, and 3D models for pre-engineered buildings in line with project requirements. Interpret and apply drafting standards, specifications, and applicable codes; incorporate revisions as needed. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, vendors, and clients through clear and professional English communication. Support design optimization to improve efficiency, constructability, and accuracy. Review and integrate vendor and manufacturer details where required. Maintain accuracy, version control, and quality across all deliverables. Ensure drawings comply with North American steel construction codes and standards (asset). Support bid preparation and pricing strategies in line with company objectives. Assist in developing take-offs, quantity estimates, and material lists. Ensure all work adheres to steel construction industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

Proven experience in

PEB drafting/detailing

, with emphasis on structural steel members and connection details. Proficiency in

AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla Structures, MBS, and SketchUp

(knowledge of multiple tools is a strong asset). Strong knowledge of structural steel drafting practices and 3D modeling. Excellent command of English (written and spoken) for effective communication with clients and team members. Familiarity with

North American building codes and standards

(preferred asset). Ability to read and interpret structural, architectural, and mechanical drawings. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines. Degree/diploma in Civil, Structural, or related engineering discipline preferred.
