Job summary
Denied Party Screening (DPS) ensures that 1+ billion Amazon accounts spanning across consumers, subsidiaries, developers, employees, and all other Amazon entities, are not a denied party, located or incorporated in a sanctioned region or country, or owned or controlled by or subject to the jurisdiction of the government of a sanctioned country. The DPS Operations team helps to support the program by completing investigations and enforcements for all potential denied party matches.
Workforce management (WFM) is an institutional process that maximizes performance levels and competency for an organization. The process includes all the activities needed to maintain a productive workforce, such as field service management, human resource management, performance and training management, data collection, recruiting, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling and analytics.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a workforce planning team and manage performance, while providing ongoing development and mentoring to ensure success in their job role
  • Create best real-time capacity plan for the business by managing trade-offs between Customer and Regulatory requirements
  • Mitigate capacity risks by managing dependencies across multiple operating units while clearly communicate dependencies and manage/track exceptions.
. Create Business continuity plan in the event of Site Holidays, or disruption of day to day operations due to external factors
. Conduct regular sync with Operations managers to gather feedbacks and share best practices, utilize these feedbacks to drive improvement in the process
  • Participate in wider DPS projects and initiatives, ensuring critical requirements and user stories are documented and approved for operational efficiencies
  • Coordinate with Operations, Capacity Planning and Forecasting team to manage the analyses of daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of site performance via Key Performance Indicators.
  • Support local site management to optimize staffing requirements.
. Manage Service level on DPS investigations through available routing and monitoring systems while providing recommended workflow options and directives to meet Service Level goal
. Work with Product and Tech team to discuss continuous improvement of existing tools and features to suit DPS requirements
  • Conduct Root cause analysis on misses, prepare and implement corrective action plan to ensure smooth day to day operational delivery
