Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and alert Door Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety and security of premises by monitoring entrances, verifying identification, and managing access control. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, contributing to a safe and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and control access to the building through door entry points. Greet and screen individuals entering the premises, ensuring proper identification is provided. Ensure security protocols are followed and report any suspicious activities or security breaches. Conduct regular patrols to ensure the premises are secure. Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms for any unusual activity. Respond promptly to security concerns, emergencies, or incidents. Maintain a visitor log and verify that only authorized individuals gain entry. Assist in emergency evacuation procedures when necessary. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when required. Provide excellent customer service to visitors and staff while maintaining professionalism and discretion. Perform routine checks of doors, windows, and other access points. Prepare detailed security reports and submit them to the security manager or supervisor.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or customer service is a plus. Ability to stay alert and focused for long periods of time. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with the public. Knowledge of basic security procedures and emergency response protocols. Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergencies effectively. A valid security guard license or certification (if required by the state/country).
