Job Summary

The Senior Executive will be responsible for managing utilization certificates and ensuring effective, transparent use of donor funds across Lighthouse centres. This role requires strong financial understanding, high attention to detail, and close collaboration with finance and program teams to ensure compliance with donor requirements and internal financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

Fund Utilization & Compliance

Prepare, review, and submit utilization certificates for donor-funded programs. Track allocation and utilization of funds across multiple Lighthouse centres. Ensure compliance with donor financial guidelines, reporting standards, and timelines.
Financial Reporting & Documentation

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and supporting documentation. Develop periodic utilization and financial reports for internal teams and external stakeholders. Support audits, financial reviews, and donor assessments related to fund utilization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with finance and program teams to ensure accurate financial data and documentation. Support donor communications by providing clear, structured, and timely financial information. Collaborate with senior management to improve financial planning and optimize resource allocation.

Key Competencies & Skills

Financial Acumen:

Strong understanding of budgeting, fund management, and financial reporting.

Analytical & Reporting Skills:

Ability to analyze financial data and present insights clearly.

Attention to Detail:

High accuracy in financial documentation and compliance reporting.

Time & Project Management:

Ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines effectively.

Stakeholder Management:

Experience working with donors, auditors, or internal stakeholders.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and financial/accounting software.

Problem-Solving:

Proactive in identifying and resolving discrepancies or reporting issues.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in financial management, fund utilization, or financial reporting. Experience in NGOs, CSR-funded programs, or social impact organizations is preferred.
