About Sewa International

Sewa International is a not-for-profit organization inspired by the noble Indian tradition of \'service before self\', working for promoting voluntarism internationally. We work towards building the capacity and capability of individuals as well as non-profit organizations for achieving results, and empowering communities and individuals through sustained support. Since its inception in 1997, Sewa International has been actively engaged in rehabilitation during times of disaster.

One of the major goals of Sewa International is to provide employment and enterprise-linked skill development programs to our beneficiaries. We have been running some of the major skill development programs in India. Presently, our major efforts include rehabilitation efforts in Nepal, setting up libraries all over India through Akshar Bharti, health initiatives, building schools, schools for special needs children, Youth for Seva, relief operations, mobile medical vans, and much more.

About the internship

Join Sewa International, a dynamic non-profit organization committed to serving humanity, as an intern in donor management. We are seeking a talented and motivated individual who is proficient in MS Excel and has a strong background in data analytics. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in donor management and contribute to our mission of providing humanitarian aid worldwide.

Selected intern\'s day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Collaborate with the donor management team to maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records
2. Assist in analyzing donor data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
3. Support the team in creating data visualizations and reports to track fundraising progress and donor engagement
4. Conduct research to identify potential new donors and assist in developing strategies to reach out to them
5. Help coordinate donor appreciation initiatives, including sending personalized thank-you notes and acknowledgments
6. Assist in planning and executing fundraising events, including managing RSVPs and coordinating logistics
7. Contribute to the overall success of the donor management team by undertaking ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned
