Position Overview:
The Domestic Sales Executive will be responsible for driving and managing the domestic sales operations across India in food, fragrance, flavor, incense sticks, pharma market. The role involves developing new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth order execution. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of chemical trading markets, customer segmentation, and technical understanding of chemical products.
Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Planning
Understand and execute domestic sales strategies aligned with company goals.
Identify target markets, industries, and customers across India.
Prepare annual and quarterly sales plans, forecasts, and budgets.

Account Management & Customer Retention
Manage client relationships and ensure regular follow-ups.
Understand client requirements, offer suitable product solutions, and maintain high satisfaction levels.
Negotiate commercial terms, close deals, and ensure timely collection of payments.
Handle customer queries, complaints, and provide prompt resolutions.

Product & Market Knowledge
Maintain sound knowledge of chemical products -- grades, specifications, and applications.
Provide technical guidance to customers with support from the technical/product team.
Stay updated with market trends, regulatory changes, and product developments.
4.
Sales Operations & Coordination
Coordinate with the purchase, logistics, and accounts teams to ensure order fulfillment.
Ensure timely delivery, documentation, and invoicing as per client requirements.
Track dispatches, follow up on collections, and manage credit control.
5.
Reporting & Performance Tracking
Maintain accurate sales records, pipeline, and customer database.
Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports and MIS.
Monitor performance against sales targets and implement corrective measure
Key Accountability Areas:
Achieving domestic sales revenue and growth targets
Acquiring new customers and expanding market presence
Maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing clients
Ensuring timely order execution and delivery coordination
Negotiating commercial terms and ensuring payment collection
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Science / Commerce; MBA in Sales & Marketing
3-5 years of experience in domestic sales within chemical trading or manufacturing industry
Experience with working with a manufacturing or trading chemical companies
Strong knowledge of chemical products and applications (organic, inorganic, food/Pharma-grade, industrial)
