Key Responsibilities
:
Business Development & Sales
:
Identify and onboard new B2B customers (retailers, interior designers, architects, dealers, institutional buyers).
Develop and manage sales channels including distributors, retail outlets, and e-commerce partners.
Drive revenue growth in assigned territories through strategic partnerships.
Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
Market Expansion & Strategy
:
Research and analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs.
Develop and implement market entry strategies for untapped regions.
Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events across India.
Customer Relationship Management
:
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts.
Act as the main point of contact for domestic clients.
Coordinate with internal teams for order execution, product customization, and after-sales service.
Reporting & Coordination
:
Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance updates.
Collaborate with the marketing team for domestic promotional campaigns and branding efforts.
Provide feedback to product development based on market insights.
Key Requirements
:
Experience
: 5+ years in business development or sales, preferably in rugs, home furnishings, flooring, or related sectors.
Education
: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
Skills
:
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Excellent network within the domestic decor/furnishings industry.
Ability to travel extensively across India.
Fluency in English and Hindi; regional languages are a plus.
