Job Role: Domestic Homologation and Testing Management
Location: Rohtak
Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) or / Automobile Engineering.
(Certification ): Preferred if any course done for Project Management
Work Experience: 4 Years +
Job Responsibilities
\xc3\x98 To plan and execute the vehicle homologation projects in a time and cost bound manner.
\xc3\x98 To interact with test agencies (ARAI, ICAT, NATRAX, GARC, CIRT etc.) and related authorities on homologation related issues.
\xc3\x98 Ensure 100% compliance of production vehicle / components per CMVR.
\xc3\x98 Coordinate among various agencies inside MSIL (Design, Carline/QA/SC etc.) for vehicle homologation requirements.
\xc3\x98 To update VAHAN system & manage the data as per vehicles certificates.
\xc3\x98 To prepare worst case proposals & plan testing vehicles accordingly.
\xc3\x98 Provide on ground support for project execution and homologation activities.
\xc3\x98 Budget planning on costs for type approval test, test vehicles/parts, regulatory compliances, technical upgrades, testing equipments, technical standards, logistics, etc.
\xc3\x98 Coordinate with SMC for Homologation Planning, troubleshooting test failures, technical support, parts/vehicle requirements, etc.
Competencies / Skills
\xc3\x98 Should understands CMVR/AIS/IS/ECE/EEC regulations and other relevant standards like ISO/FMVSS etc.
\xc3\x98 Should have handled certification work and witnessed homologation testing for passenger car(M1) and Cargo (N1).
\xc3\x98 Long term commitment with MSIL
\xc3\x98 Team player, Eagerness for learning & confident attitude.
\xc3\x98 Flexible approach
\xc3\x98 Openness towards traveling & overseas trainings.
\xc3\x98 Project Management Skills to ensure timely completion of homologation

Specific Expertise for Functional area
\xc3\x98 Good understanding of automotive technology (Conventional Gasoline/CNG, HEV/EV, other vehicle systems).
\xc3\x98 Good understanding on future / upcoming regulations such as WLTP and CAF\xc3\x89
\xc3\x98 Willing to travel out of station for vehicle homologation.
\xc3\x98 PR with Homologation agencies
