Job Title: Domain Tester

Experience : 6+ years

Location: Bengaluru (Hybrid)

Mode: 6 month contract + ext.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide an objective assessment of product quality and actively contribute as a

Software Tester

within an agile team. Contribute to sprint planning and story sizing, ensuring all testing concerns and requirements are discussed and addressed upfront. Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand key end-user workflows and define testing strategies. Develop comprehensive

test cases

based on test objectives and acceptance criteria to verify product functionality. Define, create, and maintain robust test environments to support various testing activities. Execute tests to validate functionality according to project requirements and user stories. Perform regression testing to ensure that new development changes do not negatively impact other areas of the application. Identify, communicate, and document bugs and defects clearly and consistently, tracking them through to resolution. Verify that bugs are resolved correctly and that the fixes are successfully implemented.

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role.

Domain Knowledge:

A strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), including various testing types such as

Smoke, Functional, Integration, Performance, Regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Methodologies:

You should be comfortable working in an

Agile

environment.

Tooling:

Experience with

Test Case creation

,

Defect and Test Management tools

such as

Azure DevOps/TFS or JIRA

is essential.

Automation:

A basic understanding of framework creation using any automation tool is required.

Communication:

You must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
