Your profile

• Senior candidate with overall experience of 4-8 years

• Good Knowledge/experience using Graph database

• Working Knowledge on using Stardog and Sparql.

• Work experience in ontologies development, data modelling, knowledge graphs, and taxonomies.

• Excellent understanding of controlled vocabularies and semantic web technologies and standards (OWL, RDFS, SPARQL, SHACL) W3C semantic web standards

• Experience in data integration and data management.

• Proficient with ontology modelling tools (e.g. Protege), Graph databases (e.g. Neo4j), XML, JSON-LD would be a plus.

• Team player (it is important to work in a team and support each other, e.g., checking the

quality of the implementation from another team member)

• Good communication skills along with Requirement gathering, Requirement shaping and

Ability to understand Customer demands.

• Experience in Scrum as team member

• Experience in using agile project management tools like JIRA

• Experience in using Confluence

Nice to have:

• Experience in building of applications based on metaphactory (experience in

Angular could be advantageous).

• Experience in setting up local triple stores like blazegraph.

• Experience in quality checking (see also the first skill under "For all")

• Basic knowledge about upper ontologies like ISO 15926-14 or similar like Gellish (optional)

• Experience in rapid prototyping (optional)

Your responsibilities

• You need to develop UIs based on the platform Metaphactory.

This means in detail:

• You need to Collaborate with business partners and clients for solutioning and use cases. Provide recommendations to drive alignment with business teams based on the possibilities of the platform metaphacts.

• Prerequisite is the modelling language defined for metaphactory. You will be trained to get familiar with this language.

• You need to select the components predefined in metaphactory to build the UI in line with the business requirements.

• You need to configure the selected components in line with the business requirements.

• As an expert you need to develop SPARQL queries as connection between the UI and the database.

• As prerequisite to develop SPARQL queries you must be familiar with the W3C standards RDF, RDFS, OWL, SKOS, SHACL and common ontologies like foaf or FIBO

• You need to work in Scrum model.

• You may need to integrate data with other technologies and platforms.
