Documentation Manager Power Systems, India
Technical communication and publication of technical documents of our offers (catalogues, technical guides, application guide, user, guidexe2x80xa6) is going to experience a deep change thanks to the digitization.
As part of the Technical Communication team, you will be based in India - Bangalore and will be in charge of managing the Technical Communication assets for Schneider Electric-Energy Management Power Systems Line of Business which are mainly:
xc2xb7 Standard assets: Instruction sheets, User guides, Installation guides, Quick Start Guides, Catalogs
xc2xb7 Digital assets: 3D pictures, 3D CADs, technical videos for several support (web, mobile devices,)
You will synchronize with project teams to define the scope of documents to deliver. Then, together with LoB marketing and Engineering, you will propose the structure and content of the document and you will manage external vendors for the design of each asset. This position will supervise activities on a worldwide scale, managing a portfolio of Schneider Electric offers and components.

Profile
xc2xb7 Ideally a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with additional education in technical writing
xc2xb7 At least 10 years experience as a Technical writer
xc2xb7 3-5 years in leading and managing a team
xc2xb7 Ability to explain complex, technically demanding products in easily understandable language, illustrations and animations/videos
xc2xb7 Reviewing and editing of technical documentation experience
xc2xb7 Ability to plan, manage and control several parallel projects, experience in Project Management
xc2xb7 Experience with standard office software, authoring & desktop publishing tools and project management software
xc2xb7 Understanding of hardware and software development methodology, e.g. agile approach
xc2xb7 Strong communication skills.
xc2xb7 Positive and open attitude, flexibility.
