Prepare and verify Shipping Bills, Bills of Entry, invoices, packing lists, COO, BL/AWB, duty exemption and drawback documents.
Ensure compliance with customs, DGFT, and international trade regulations.
Identify and resolve missing/incorrect documents before submission.
Maintain proper records of all export-import documentation and certificates.
Export Operations
Draft and manage export documentation and coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders.
Follow up on vessel schedules, container allocation, and cargo movement up to cut-off.
Support LC/BRC-related documentation and share daily export status updates.
Import Operations
Prepare import documentation including BOE, duty documents, licenses, and certificates.
Coordinate with shipping lines, and port authorities for timely clearance.
Track unloading, DO collection, and movement of goods to delivery points.
Share daily import clearance updates with the manager.
Coordination & Communication
Liaise with clients, customs authorities, shipping lines, ports/ICDs/CFSs, and internal teams.
Provide shipment status updates and resolve documentation discrepancies.
Support MIS reporting and additional tasks assigned by management.
Requirements
3 to 5 years of experience in export/import documentation or CHA/freight forwarding.
Strong knowledge of customs regulations, DGFT processes, INCOTERMS, and trade documentation.
Proficient in ICEGATE, DGFT portal, and MS Office.
Excellent communication, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple shipments.
Proactive, organized, and able to work under deadlines.
